MRI following recent surgery
20-02-2006
Asa returned to Southampton in January to have another operation.
The recently implanted shunt was replaced to relieve the nausea and headaches Asa had been having since October. The surgery seems to have been a success and Asa is only suffering from nausea occasionally.
More recently Asa has seen specialists in Radiation treatments and Tumours to establish the best course of action regarding the tumour near his optic nerve, which is rapidly depleting his vision.
A 3hr MRI scan was taken on Feb 16th and the family waits anxiously for the results.
